COVID-19 Update…..

Scouting is continuing in the District within the guidelines provided by the Scout Association.  Where possible meetings have been held outdoors, but with the current (Lockdown 2.0) many Groups are reverting to on-line meetings facilitated by Zoom.

Odiham District manages 9 Scout Groups, 5 Explorer Units and a Network organisation in the southern areas of Hart local authority.  You can see the area covered here  and the various units are listed here

Currently there are around 1,600 young people aged 6 to 25 (boys and girls), and hundreds of Adult Volunteers all benefiting from the Scout programme and Scouting activities in Odiham District. This is delivered by an enthusiastic team of around 250 Leaders & Adult Volunteers.

Scouting in Odiham district is an adventure and there’s something in it for everyone! It provides an opportunity for young people and adult volunteers to develop leadership and team skills through camping, adventurous activities and international travel.

The District organisation is here to support local scouting and provide guidance on where to find more information if you’re a:-

  • Member of the Scouts looking for information
  • Parent looking for a local group
  • Adult looking to become involved in Scouting
  • Just interest in what we do!
